This lake (altitude 875 m, called also Ozero or Dankovo Lake) is situated on the northern slopes of the Spišská Magura mountains, 2 km in the south from Osturňa. It arose as a result of a landslide, which dammed up a lake drain. It is only 500 m2 large. It is surrounded by spruce forests and meadows. In past people tried to keep fishes in the lake.
