It is only 6 km long creek. It has quite a lot of water that flows into the valley from the massif of Plašná and the Malé Pieniny (Small Pieniny) mountains. The only village in the area is the village Lesnica. The creek is very fast (having the speed of about 45 km/hour). On its way into Dunajec it created a romantic canyon in limestone mountains with showy wall of Vylízaná on the right and Osobitá Rock on the left side of the mouth.
0,3 km2 of the area of the canyon of the Lesnický Creek is a Protected Natural Monument. Geo-morphologically it is a very aesthetic object of a natural origin, with lots of rare kinds of coniferous species.
